Kumu Sheila has been passionate about her teaching for these past 15 years. She shares the traditional art form of Hawaiian Lomilomi based on the principles of life, as embraced in Hawaiian values. Sheila's credo is "Anything of value takes time."

Because the art of Lomilomi requires deep commitment and patience, it may not be for everyone. Therefore, Kumu Sheila is very discerning with her selection.

Prior to registration acceptance, a letter of intent and a phone or personal interview are required.

Ka Pa Lomi Ola stresses small workshops, so that individualized attention is guaranteed. The focus is to instill integrity, which is an integral part of practicing Lomilomi. The sessions taught at Ka Pa Lomi Ola are based on the teaching style of Aunty Margaret Machado - Lomilomi Master. These teachings focus on the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of Lomilomi.
